New World

Really interesting I know... I got to wear a visitor name tag and take photos of the door, and what a door it was!! Smooth shiny glass, loiterers, trolleys, the works :)
The reason for these pictures being that I was thinking of having my exhibition at the supermarket, well not an exhibition as such, rather a 'happening' or some ridiculous thing, I don't know what to classify it as really. The foyer area is quite saturated with advertising already, and all of it is specific to the supermarket although there is a notice board available for local advertising, one of those sweet cork boards that never have enough pins on them.
I am thinking of asking the manager for a floor plan of the supermarket and conducting some kind of tour for a few select people. I don't think I could put this to the general public and just random people entering the store because it may affect New World's sales on some items.... somehow... although that would ideally be what I would do.
I wanted to incorporate some of the badges I made for project drawing..I was thinking of putting some of the chicken ones near the eggs or egg products, the meat ones in the meaty meat section etc. I would put cage chicken adverts in the bottom of my 'people's' baskets and give them a floor plan of the shop highlighting certain areas. I thought of putting food items on the map, and next to images of the food something about the impact it has on the environment, or maybe just have my corny little posters about cage eggs etc in the booklet.
